    TriNet Corporate Realty Trust Inc., San Francisco, one of the largest publicly traded REITs, has acquired a 420,000 sq. ft. headquarters building in Parsippany, N.J., that is net leased to AT&T Resource Management Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T.

    The Trevose, Penn.-based full-service mortgage banker and lender has appointed Richard W. Payne III president and CEO and Robert G. Gundaker executive vice president/national retail production. The firm is a subsidiary of Dauphin Deposit Bank and Trust Company.

    In April, Brazos Fund, L.P., an opportunity fund in which BlackRock Asset Investors of New York is a 50% partner, completed its first transaction, the purchase of $150 million in loans and real estate secured by 2,405 units in seven multifamily properties.

Survey Finds Apartments Most Favored Among Investors

When it comes to real estate investing in 1995, the hot tip may be on apartments. At least that's the finding in CB Commercial's recent National Investor Survey for first quarter 1995.

Just one short year ago, apartment properties were ranked No. 2 in favor behind community shopping centers. Now that order has changed dramatically, with apartments in the lead, followed by suburban offices, urban offices, warehouse/distribution and community shopping centers.
